To Change the World

Whew.  It’s been a while.  I haven’t posted since the last encampment.  Well, another is come and gone, and White Team came in 2nd!!! Though the Night Watch settled for a tie, falling from 4 -0 to 2 – 2 with a half hour to go.  I also didn’t get Mr. Dietz, because he didn’t play.  I guess you just can’t have your cake and eat it too.   Anyway.  I was recently thinking  (uh oh! ) about humanity.  In the fact that they are not perfect.  We are human.  We are not perfect.  We can’t be perfect, because we all have original sin.  But when you are baptized, the original sin goes away.  I’ll use an example.  Suppose you are making a cake. (yes, my mind is still on cake, from above.)

• You take the pan out, and find it dirty.  Original Sin.
• You wash it clean.  Baptism
• You add all of the main ingredients (I say main ingredients, because I don’t know how to make a cake. ) The Human
• You add the sugar.  Grace.
• You bake it.  Life and Purgatory.
• You eat it.  Heaven

Making cake in a unwashed pan probably won’t work.

Forgetting the main ingredients, you have no cake.

No sugar, and the cake doesn’t taste good.

If it’s not baked, you probably get sick.

And without any of those components, you can’t eat it.

So here we are.  I sin, and I say: “Forgive me Lord, I’m human.”  Firstly, he already knows that.  However, we have grace.  So don’t say you are human.  What happens when we are use the “human” excuse is, we are saying: “God, I’m a sinner.  Just let me be a sinner.”  Now you try saying that to God and he will say: “Hell is that way.”  Sin is sin.  And again I sound the wake up call.  WAKE UP AMERICA!  Without exception, everyone wants to be…unique…They want to be special.  You know what I mean?  They want to be the person that the reporters ask what is going on, because they know what is going on.  They want to be on the inside.  They want to be the right hand man.  They want to be able to say:  ”I was one of the founders.  I was one of the people here from the beginning, I helped make this organization (or whatever it is) what it is today!”

Here is an offer.  A fair offer.  Not dishonest.  Join the Catholic Church, give up sinning, re-juvenate America.  Fix her economy, live moral lives, be a role model, give other nations something to look up to.  The world would be drastically changed if everyone did this.  And that is what everyone wants.  To change the world.  You can still keep you iPhone.  Just  use it in moderation, and be happy you have it, and not want the iPhone deluxe.  Keep you life simple, and you will get what you want.  Because you won’t want anything.  Your desires will be fulfilled, with one tiny little piece of bread.  The Eucharist.  God gave it to us.  It perfects humanity, you might say.  For Jesus says:  ”…unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you”  Now we all know that he was talking literally, for the crowds starting shrinking away from him after he said that.  And those of you who say he was a vampire/cannibalistic, shut up.  I’m just gonna delete you comments rather than argue with a raving lunatic.  Stop lying to yourself.

In the words of Napoleon.  ”It takes three things to win a war:  Money, Money, and Money.”

In the words of Fr. Angelo. “It takes three things to get to Heaven: Prayer, Prayer, and Prayer.”

In the words of SignaVeritae. “It takes three things to save America.  ”Sacrifice, Sacrifice, and Sacrifice.

It takes three things to destroy a country: Sex, Money, and Power.

It takes three things to build a country: Faith, Hope, and Charity.

What do we have to lose?

Very eventful encampment!  The best of the Bryce [Mr.] Dietz regime!

• I came in third out of the teenagers in the Girard Tournament.
• Night Watch won their second consecutive game.
• I tagged out Bryce [Mr.] Dietz on Night Watch.
• Master Xavier was knighted Sir Paul Ethier
• Adam Girard was knighted Sir Adam Girard
• White Team lost.
• White Team missed 1st place by 2 points.  
• IT WAS FUN!!!!

Free Speech?

Now, I don’t want to sound like a news network, or a politician, but what is happening to “Great” Britain.  The formerly great empire, which was one of the first countries to free slaves, which was one of the first countries to allow free speech, one of the first countries to have an elected house of officials and legislators, has announced a list of people who have been banned from entering the country of one “Great” Britain.  At the very bottom, was radio talk-show host Michael Savage

Home Secretary Jackie Smith announced the list, “so that England’s populace will better understand Britain’s enemies.”  He was listed alongside terrorists, gang leaders, murderers, and radical Islamists.  When will I make the list?  Someone called in the Michael Savage show saying that when he went to Barnes and Noble, they were getting rid of his books.  Jackie Smith said that Michael Savage’s speech incited inter-community racism and violence.  His speech is reported as “offensive.”  Now, I listen to Michael Savage’s show very often, and, while his speech may be offensive, it by no means incites violence.  He is not preaching revolution, and his show is not even aired in formerly “Great” Britain.  

So free speech is acceptable, but not offensive free speech?  What is the point of free speech if you only say what others want to hear?  If I go around telling people that I worship them, they don’t get mad.  If I go around telling people that I oppose their views, they get offended.  So they kill me.  With free speech, they can’t kill me for saying that I oppose their views.  Free speech is bound to be offensive to someone.  So England, despite that fact that 80% of their population opposes the move, decided to label free speech, “hate speech” and do away with our rights.  Now, will the Home Secretary Jackie Smith be banned from Islamic countries, because she labeled some of their citizens “terrorists?”    That sounds like hate speech to me.  

All in all, you just don’t single people like Michael Savage out.  Several news stations had never heard of him.  No one in England listens to him, because he isn’t aired over there.  So why?  If there are several playground bullies, and you want to make an example of them, do you beat up their weakest, or their strongest?  Michael Savage has an audience of 8 to 10 Million listeners.  He has called upon them to boycott English products, and cancel any travel plans to the U.K.  He has also announced that he is suing Jackie Robinson, and his attorneys think that he can get up to 200,000 pounds sterling.  That’s $303020.66  He said that unless Jackie Smith removes him from the list, and unless she sends him a publicized and official apology, he will sue her pants off for defamation of character.

But more importantly, this is the beginning of an effort to end conservative talk radio in the whole world.  And even more importantly, I back the efforts of Michael Savage, and urge others to do the same, else America begins to emulate the policies of the gutter rats over in Britain.  Unless Americans begin to act, we will have nothing left except maybe the clothes on our backs!
